Peter and Suzanne Dykstra, owners of the Boat House Cafe which is located on the Esplanade, just down from the Huonville Bridge on the banks fo the Huon River, offer fresh cooked seafood, home made chicken, fish or vegetable burgers as well as the traditional hamburger.

Peter has only recently built the cafe to cater for both locals and tourists alike, one can just pop in to get a great lunch, lazy family dinner or sit back on the deck and enjoy the relaxing setting.

Suzanne is also a master of the humble milkshake made the traditional way. All food is prepared fresh, fish can be grilled or crumbed and gluten-free is also available.
