Have you ever considered becoming a member of the Huon Agricultural Society? If not, NOW IS THE TIME TO ACT! This Society, now preparing for its 61st Huon Show, would welcome your support. A considerable number of our members consider that by taking out Membership of the Huon Agricultural Society they are assisting in keeping this Huon icon as a feature of the calendar year. Not many other events in the Huon can lay claim to the fact that for 61 years the Huon Show has entertained, acted as a meeting place for Huon identities, given exhibitors the opportunity to exhibit livestock, showcase the many talents through home industries, horticultural and other areas. One of the most important facts is that the Show has provided a ready-made audience for enterprising stallholders to promote and showcase their product. Many of the earlier stallholders have gone on to become well known with their product, both locally and further afield.

The Huon Show Committee consists of a small group of 22 dedicated voluntary members. The Committee also relies on stewards to assit on Show Day. Any assitance in any area on Show Day is appreciated.

If you would like to become a member of the Huon Agricultural Society, or if you have not renewed your membership for 2007, please give consideration to filing out the form below and returning it to the Society's PO address. Membership ($20) consists of 2 adult passes and passes for 3 children. Where else can you get such entertainment for such a low cost?
