The Huon Agricultural Society Inc. invites young and old, local and visitor to celebrate the

61^st Huon Show

17^th November 2007

The 61st Huon Show conducted by the Huon Agricultural Society Inc. will be held at the Ranelagh Recreation Ground on Saturday 17th November 2007.

Entertainment will include – Alpacas & Goats (inc. Boer Goats). Animal Nursery. Chain Saw Carving. Country Music Bands. Children’s Activities. (include Make Believe, Mr Beep, Roving Stiltwalkers, Smiff’s Puppets etc.) Dog High Jump (enter on day). Heritage Machinery. Homecrafts & School Displays. Kennel Section. Police Pipe Band. Snake Handling Demonstrations. Shingle Splitting, The Foley’s & The Borstal Boys (musicians). Wooden Boat Display. plus a full range of carnival attractions.

A large range of cattle and other animals including draught horses, sheep, alpacas, cavies (guinea pigs), cats, dogs, poultry and dairy goats will be on display. Stock judging will commence at 9.30 a.m.

Plenty of parking adjacent to the Showground or catch the Show bus at the
Ranelagh Village Green.

Food:

Next door to the Homecrafts, the Show Society will have dining room operating for morning and afternoon teas as well as lunch being available - all at a reasonable price. Great food stalls are also around the ground.
