The Cygnet Folk Festival has developed a reputation as one of the premier cultural events in Tasmania's arts calendar. Every year over three days, the people of Cygnet present a tremendous variety of music, dance and related arts featuring local and international guest artists.

Port Cygnet Sailing Club Inc. Cygnet Regatta |

This regatta is now the largest keel boat regatta in Tasmania with entries exceeding 80 boats. Catering will be provided for dinner on Saturday and Sunday, lunch on Sunday and breakfast on Sunday and Monday. Dinghy transport to shore will be provided.

Ranelagh Recreation Ground, RANELAGH
This annual event celebrates teh diversity of produce from the Huon Valley, D'Entrecasteaux Channel and Bruny Island areas. There will be food stalls, new events, cookery demonstrations using local produce and entertainment from local artists and musicians. Come and feast on some mouth-watering treats.

Port Esperance Sailing Club Dover Regatta |

|
The Huon Tasmanian Salmon Port Esperance Race event consists of three race series for both keel-boats and dinghies culminating in the William Jackson Memorial Cup and BK Price Trophy races respectively. There will also be events for classic yachts of yesteryear and cruisers. Onshore activities include music and entertainment on the nights of Saturday and Sunday as well as fine food and drinks.

5th Annual Tasmanian Forest Festival |

Make your way to the Wood Chopping Arena and enjoy the action of one of the Huon's traditional sports. 16 events will be contested during the day including 'standing', 'underhand', 'tree-felling', 'sawing' and 'chainsaw racing', a popular event with both competitors and spectators. There will also be a 'boy's chop' for under 18 year olds to encourage young axemen learning the sport. A lunchtime BBQ will be available.
